Fans able to attend UEFA Futsal EURO 2022 matches

Dutch government ruling allows public to attend sporting events in the Netherlands. The Dutch government has announced this evening in a press conference that as of 26 January, spectators will be allowed to attend events, including those of a sporting nature, such as UEFA Futsal EURO 2022. This tournament is the first sporting event to take place this year in the Netherlands and the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and the MartiniPlaza in Groningen will be able to once again welcome fans.

Supporters will be able to attend matches for the final round of the group stage, as well as the quarter-finals, the semi-finals and the final.

"This is fantastic news," said the tournament director Gijs de Jong. “We have always kept hope that the Dutch government would ease the measures and have been working with different scenarios. Finally, the doors are open to the public. This is great news for fans who get the chance now to experience the UEFA Futsal EURO 2022 up close, as well as for all the teams, staff and everyone who has worked hard for this event. Futsal deserves a bigger stage, and I am happy that we can now finally open the doors to watch the artists of Futsal live, even if it is for a limited number of visitors".

Ticket sales

On Wednesday, January 26 at 11:00 CET, ticket sales will start for the remaining matches of UEFA Futsal EURO 2022. Ticket buyers who have previously bought tickets for the matches still to be played will have 22 hours priority to buy new tickets for the matchday they previously bought tickets for. If there are still tickets left for sale on Thursday 27 January, ticket sales will be open for all fans. Fans can buy tickets via futsaleurotickets.nl.
